Alarm messages, measured data and parameters must be detected at their place or origin and, in case of time-critical applications, they have to be sent instantly or, otherwise, time-delayed to a control center. A remote interaction between the control center and the measuring points is often required for control or management purposes.

Water towers, transformer substations, pipelines, supply lines – all these systems indispensable for a modern infrastructure are, however, often located outdoor in rural areas and cannot be accessed directly. Data linkage via cable would be extensive and inefficient. And even if they are connected via cable, a redundant transfer path might be required.

For radio-based data linkage, MUGLER offers you a wide product portfolio for technologies, such as GSM, GPRS/EDGE, UMTS with HSDPA/HSUPA, LTE, TETRA or microwave. As to data transfer through mobile radio networks, the safety aspect also plays an important part. Our products enable the use of protective mechanisms, such as VPN by means of  L2TP, OpenVPN, IPsec etc. Using the VPN-server portal and adequate software, you are able to define and manage user groups and access authorization levels.
