The way to the best network in view of customers - E-Plus group, TU Chemnitz and MUGLER AG are cooperating

E-Plus, the Technical University of Chemnitz and telecom network integrator MUGLER signed a cooperation contract to research user experiences on 4th generation mobile networks.

The research will focus among others on new measurement methods, media services, the influence of end user device functions / applications and M2M communication.

E-Plus wants to use the results of the study to provide the best user experience on LTE networks. E-Plus provides an independent LTE network to TU Chemnitz inclusive of the core network for tests. TU Chemnitz will simulate the everyday live of users to find out which requirements the customers have to gain a positive experience. Mugler will use the study results to develop new methods for measuring networks and service quality on those networks.
