DVB-T Frequency Allocation to MUGLER
In the course of a tendering procedure of the Federal Network Agency, MUGLER AG got the frequency allocations for DVB-T-supply in the four regions of Dresden, Chemnitz, Zwickau, and Görlitz. Complete implementation including project design, erection, network management and/or supervision will be realized with own technical resources.
As compared to previous local networks, the networks in Dresden, Chemnitz, Zwickau, and Görlitz will be erected according to the "LowPower – LowTower" principle.
Comprehensive experience with local DVB-T-networks could already be gathered in the projects "DVB-T-Leipzig" (in regular operation since 10 May 2010) as well as "DVB-T-Halle" (currently running in test operation).
Thus, especially local and regional radio program providers will get optimal and cost-effective conditions to broadcast their programs via DVB-T. The foreseeable program bouquets will include a mix of local, regional and supraregional contents.
"From the idea to the complete network" – MUGLER AG will also implement further projects under this motto. Other frequencies have already been allocated for Mittweida (DVB-T) and the Potsdam urban area (VHF).
